Blackthorne have made it through to the final four of the 2016 BIFA freight services awards in the ‘Specialist Services’ category. The entry has been based on Blackthorne’s services in the area of dual use and controlled exports and ensuring compliance for their clients. More and more encryption technology is now falling within this area and export compliance is a major issue for exporters. Blackthorne’s export services not only ensures 100% compliance with the regulations but peace of mind that shipments won’t get held up or seized by customs. BIFA is the UK trade association for international freight forwarders and organisers of the annual awards which take place in the City of London.
