2016 MARKS THE 40th ANNIVERSARY OF JAMES HUNT BEING CROWNED 1976 FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPION
Many know that his route to F1 glory came by way of the infamous Hesketh Racing team of the early 1970’s. A lesser known fact however is that his track career started in Club Racing at the wheel of a self-built Mini Special in 1967.
Teaming up with motorsport engineering stalwart and lead driver Jonathan Lewis of Snetterton Speedshop, a Hesketh Racing Mini Cooper S will compete in the 2016 Masters Pre 66 Touring Car Championships, and Blackthorne Transport are Proud to announce that they will be the title sponsors for the Hesketh team’s entry in the series.
